- An Evening with Rosalind Wiseman
- Digital Safety Seminar
- Mindful Parenting Workshop
As a learning community, we regularly reflect on the latest research regarding the intellectual, physical, and social-emotional development of children. Parent Education events afford our community an opportunity to stay up-to-date on the latest thinking about kids and and to engage in meaningful conversations around how best to help our students thrive.
Each year the Parent Education Chair, in partnership with the Head of School and school leadership, plans a variety of events with local and national thought leaders in a range of fields to share their ideas both with our families and the broader community in and around Evergreen. This past year’s events included An evening with Rosalind Wiseman, a program on Digital Safety, and a Mindfulness Parenting Workshop.
Once a month Evergreen Country Day also welcomes Dr. Hettleman, a child and family psychologist, to campus. Parents are welcome and encouraged to sign up for appointments with Dr. Hettleman during this time, free of charge.
