As part of the application process, we require a Shadow Day for any student applying into grades 1-8. For younger students we schedule shorter Readiness Visits. For the 2025-2026 school year admissions cycle, Shadow Days will be conducted in fall 2024 and winter 2025. Readiness Visits will be conducted as early as late-January 2025 and will continue through the month of February 2025.

In accordance with the Association of Colorado Independent Schools “Denver Group” admissions agreement, ECDS will notify families about first-round admissions decisions via email and/or phone in late February 2025. (Grades 6-8, February 21. PS-5th, February 28.) We also offer open enrollment throughout the school year based on availability.community
